Records may be stored electronically and/or in secure physical storage. Access is restricted to me and, where required, authorised professionals involved in maintaining secure systems.
Access to Your Information
You may request access to your personal information or clinical records, subject to legal and ethical considerations.
Requests should be made in writing. In some circumstances, access may be limited in accordance with applicable legislation or professional guidelines.
Retention of Records
According to PACFA (Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia) guidelines, client records must be retained for a minimum of 7 years after the last contact with an adult client before being securely destroyed.
